SEPTA Mainline

I'm not really a big fan of the Southeastern Pennsylvania Transit Authority (SEPTA), but I thought this was a pretty cool scene. Some workers are performing some minor trackwork just as a Paoli bound R5 commuter train passes by. This was once the Reading Railroad's mainline and some of Reading's most famous trains such as the Wall Street and the Crusador rode over these same rails. This R5 train will soon enter Philadelphia and into a fairly new tunnel that will ultimately carry it to the former Pennsylvania Railroad lines over which this train will travel to Paoli, the former route of the infamous Paoli Local.
