Outbound 7 Train

This is probably one of the most famous New York City Subway scenes ever but it usually features one of the older "Redbird" subway cars. This is the 7 Flushing Line and this was where the famous Redbirds made their very first appearance. Those trainsets have since retired and in this case, they were replaced by stainless steel trainsets dating back to 1985. They last saw service on the 3 and 6 lines before being transferred to the 7. An outbound 7 train make a right hand 90 degree turn just before entering the upper level of the Queensborough Plaza Station with the Midtown Manhattan skyline as a backdrop. This is probably one of the most scenic segments of the entire line.

This was drawn from common office ball point pens and highlighters. I admit that I did use some Photoshop on this one primarily because I really was not happy with certain parts of this drawing. But rather than just scrap this one, I thought I'd fix it instead. I put far too much work into this one to just throw it away.
